Hey everyone! So after the success of Anna’s birthday tumblr I have been trying to think of something we could do for the holidays in her honor…
As you know, Anna is a huge supporter of the Trevor Project. She is always attending their events, and Trevor Live is also where she performed with Kristin Chenoweth last year.
I would like to invite you all to make a donation on Anna’s behalf to the non-profit organization. THERE IS NO MINIMUM, so please give what you can over the holidays and let’s get our fandom to join together in support of a really great organization.
FIRST LOOK: “Happy Christmas” to premiere at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in January.
The last time Joe SwanbergandAnna Kendrick did a movie together, it turned out to be the wonderful“Drinking Buddies,”so mark follow-up“Happy Christmas”down as highly anticipated. The film was just announced to have its world premiere at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and we have the first photo of Kendrick andLena Dunham.
Swanberg directed and stars in this one, with Kendrick in the role of a young woman who breaks up with her boyfriend and crashes Christmas at her sister (Melanie Lynsky) and brother-in-law’s (Swanberg) house. It’s not clear who Dunhma plays, but perhaps a friend of Kendrick’s character or, judging by the first photo, a babysitter for her sister’s kid.Mark Webberalso rounds out this awesomely quirky indie cast.
This one is mostly improvised, just like all of Swanberg’s films, and will compete in the US Dramatic category at Sundance next month.
GQ named Anna Kendrick one of 2013’s Top Babes - and shared a new pic!
